Knitters love to muse over yarn. We like to compare and contrast lace versus bulky and everything in-between. We like to advocate for our favorite yarn dyers and spinners and when we knit with a new yarn, we like to share that with our knitterly friends.
On Sunday, I posted about how knitters also seem to love cooking (or at least food!) and when I came across this image, I thought "how perfect." After thinking about how much we contemplate yarn choice, I also noticed that we love to muse over colorways. I have read about how you are partial to blues, how you never go near yellow, and how grey has become the new black. I'm a very visual person and color (and light) is a huge influence on me. Color can make me happy or melancholy, excited or calm.
I recently discovered this amazing blog which exists mainly to inspire its readers with swatches of color combinations. I love stopping over at Design Seeds every now and then to spark ideas about how to combine tones and hues for my knitting projects.
