I'm joining Ginny's yarn along this week.
What a great day I had yesterday. Not only did it start with a cozy, romantic breakfast at a favorite local cafe with Mark, but all through the day, I got to read your lovely birthday wishes here on project: stash. Thank you for helping to make my birthday extra special.
So, without any further delay, my trusty random number generator (that's Xavier for anyone who's wondering) chose #3 to win the skein of Maxima!! Yup, he picked the number 3 in honor of my birthday, and I'll be happily sending this off to Lisa. I wish I could send you each a skein, but I'd have to win the lottery first! In my heart of hearts, you each get one!
I'm still diligently working on both Carry the One and my Caponcho so nothing really new to share. The novel is breathtaking in its language -- I wish I could write like Anshaw -- and the Caponcho is almost finished. I'll be posting about my Mothed soon, but in the meantime, I'm doing my best not to cast on a new project until I finish these. Somehow that hasn't stopped me from queuing up patterns in my Ravelry library.

YAY! Anyways, I am so glad you have a great birthday! Can't wait to hear more about your projects.
ReplyDeleteYou should never limit the number of projects in your queue, it is so much fun to pick out some new favorites to think about trying. Glad to hear your birthday was so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great birthday! My queue is fairly under control just now - it just has my YoP things in it - but my favourites list is always growing!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! It sounded like you had a wonderful day. I don't know what we would do without Ravelry. There are so many great patterns popping up, it is hard to resist not adding them to the queue.
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy Birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteA tad late but with lots of love!
xoxo Alex and jerry
I'm impressed by your ability to keep faithful to this project until completion! I need a bit more of that these days.
ReplyDeleteBelated birthday wishes, Evelyn.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're finishing up projects left and right
