What a Prize!

Look what Gail made for our Project: Stash KAL July prize for the Miranda Hat?

Isn't is simply gorgeous?  Don't you want to win this?  If I could sew even half as well as Gail can, I would be sewing as much as I knit (which Gail certainly does).

A few months ago, Gail gifted me a similar project bag, and I use it constantly.  It can easily fit two 450 yard cakes, a pair of circular needles, and my Knit Kit. What I especially love about my project bag is the wristlet design -- the wide but short handle makes this bag really transportable.

For our prize, Gail has outdone herself:  I love the bright blue exterior with the complementary floral print and red zipper that gives this project bag such pizzazz!
For those of you fabulous knitters who have already finished a Miranda Hat (or two) and posted a photo of your beauties on the group's forum, you've been entered to win, but have no fear: it's not too late to jump in!

This knit along will be going on through the end of September with prizes each month going to a KAL'er chosen at random.  You still have 15 whole days to cast on and bind off your very own Miranda Hat (adult or child version) to be eligible to win this bag, so please remember to join our group and post your photos.

I'm really excited to share with you the prize for August, but it will have to wait just a bit longer. What I can say is that it's as wonderful as the July prize.

Thanks again, Gail. xo

  2. So, does your name go in the box once for every hat you knit up in july? That might make me decide to knit up another 10 or so... This bag is gorgeous!!! So my colors!!! :D
    Thanks Gail!

    1. Well, you've been knitting up a storm, I know! No, your name goes in only once each month and a random knitter will be picked. BUT, in the end, the knitter who has knit (and posted) the most Miranda Hats overall will win the grand prize (to be announced!). xoxoxxo
