FO: Luxe Cowl

Every now and then, I need a simple and easy project to work on, especially when I'm knitting more complicated patterns or working on a basketful of WIPs.  With all the Christmas gift knitting that I've been doing, I wanted to throw in another project that could give me some instant gratification.

Malabrigo Worsted

The Luxe Cowl could not have been simpler and more enjoyable to knit, and I basically cast on and finished it in only a few hours.

Geranio

Designed by Margaux of tentenknits, this is one of those patterns that reminds us knitters how simplicity and beautiful yarn can make the nicest FO.

I chose Malabrigo Worsted because I wanted this cowl to be especially soft and drapey (if you haven't tried Malabrigo, you must ... it's one of my favorite yarns).

And the color helps make this cowl pop!  A little accessory like this will jazz up any winter coat, don't you think? I will definitely grab myself another cake of Malabrigo Worsted (guilty: I have several in my stash) and knit myself one of these.  This FO is going into my ever-growing Christmas gift giving collection.  Hmmm, who should get this one??

  5. This looks so great on you! Love that color. I have knitted with Malabrigo Lace, but never with the worsted. Will definitely have to add some to the stash.
