When I started Project: Stash a year ago, I knew that I wanted to share my knitting adventures in both words and pictures. My very first photograph showed off a technique that I had just mastered: the brioche stitch. I was so proud of myself -- I had spent an entire weekend working out this stitch and when I finally managed to knit a whole scarf, Miranda happily modeled it for me.
If you've been following Project: Stash for a while, you know that Miranda is my trusty model. She's always willing and always cheerful. In looking back over the year, I can't get over how much she's grown and matured. It's been fun seeing her go from this:

On occasion, I've been able to get Xavier in a couple of shots, too:
They'll start asking to be paid soon, I know it!
Such cuties!
ReplyDeleteI love how willing you kids are to model for your blog, and they do such a fantastic job. I can certainly say that my siblings and I would not be this compliant for our mother.
ReplyDeleteAre those your kids? You must be so proud! They are both gorgeous. You made some amazing projects, do you mind sharing what pattern you used for that third scarf (the one with the honeycombs)?
ReplyDeleteNever mind, you found me on Raverly and I spotted the pattern :-)
DeleteI agree with Pumpkin - your kids are so great for helping you out. Miranda has amazing hair!
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky to have such great models - my kids are 2 and 5 and don't keep still so most of my photos are blurred! It's why I used this model today.... http://www.craftsfromthecwtch.co.uk/2012/04/kcbw-day-2-photography-challenge-day.html
ReplyDeleteWell, now that you're famous, it's only natural they want to get paid :).
