I'm joining in Ginny's Yarn Along this week.
I'm so happy that I finished my Amari Shawl over the weekend as it was becoming one of those projects that made me wonder why it was taking so long. I loved the pattern, I loved the yarn, and I loved the knit along group that I was in but the knitting was s-l-o-w.
I'm also happy to say that I finished my first Miranda Hat (child size) on the same day as part of this summer's Project: Stash KAL for charity. The group is 107 members strong and growing. I truly love knowing that so many knitters want to use some of their knitting time to do a bit of good for others. Don't forget to post your WIPs and FOs so that we can admire your work ... and be eligible for the July prize!
For those of you who have joined the Ravelry group or plan to, my wonderful graphics designer made us a button! I love it and hope you do, too.

For those of you who have joined the Ravelry group or plan to, my wonderful graphics designer made us a button! I love it and hope you do, too.
If you'd like to add this button to your blog, please do. I think you can just lift it from here and link it to our group so give it a try. If you can't, please let me know and I'll try to fix that (I'm still new at all this computer graphics stuff so bear with me).
Like my Amari Shawl, my reading has been slow, too. I just have so much knitting and blog reading that I want to do -- let's just say that I've been enjoying visiting all your blog posts, and I'll count that for my reading this week!
... and to those who celebrate, Happy Fourth!
Oh wow! I love the button! I made my own so I could link in an attractive way to the Ravelry group, but this one is way better! I love your hat! I hope that you have a great holiday!
